When not wearing the jewellery keep it in a jewellery box or in a soft fabric pouch, in a cool dry place away from direct sunlight. Avoid keeping pieces of jewellery on top of another, as this may leading to tangling and scratches.
These pieces of jewellery are not designed to be worn whilst swimming, bathing/showering or doing any type of activity that could easily result in its damage, such as manual work and sporting activities. You may look great wearing a beautiful charm bracelet whilst rock-climbing or scrubbing the bath, but your bracelet may not look the same after!!
Avoid contact with things that can tarnish the jewellery or discolour it : Salt water, chlorinated pools, chemicals, and sweat. Beauty products such as perfume, deodorant, hairspray etc can also affect your jewellery. Prolonged exposure to sunlight can cause some gemstones to fade (Rose Quartz, Amethyst).
Cleaning your jewellery:
Tarnished Silver is not permanent, can easily and cheaply be brought back to looking as good as when you bought it by using a good quality silver polish cloth. Gemstones and crystals can be cleaned with warm soapy water and a soft toothbrush. Ensure that the jewellery is carefully dried after cleaning. Do not polish the jewellery with anything other than a polishing cloth as it may scratch it.
